AI SEO for a med spa means getting your clinic named when someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI where to get Botox, lip filler or laser hair removal near them. What decides it is plain facts on pages AI can read: treatment prices, who injects, the city, and complete profiles on the booking and review sites the answers lean on.
Price is the gap. In our US study, AI named no clinic at all for 5 of 6 lip filler price questions, because it found no local prices to quote.
How clients ask AI before they book a treatment
Ten of the 100 aesthetics questions from our two studies, word for word. Most name a treatment, a skin type, a price or a safety worry.
| Question, as asked | Where | Language | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| How much do lip fillers cost in Dubai and where is safe? | UAE | English | price |
| Where can I get laser hair removal for dark skin in Dubai? | UAE | English | specific |
| Which skin clinic in JLT is licensed and has good reviews? | UAE | English | trust |
| I am 24 with hormonal acne, which dermatologist in Dubai Hills should I see? | UAE | English | specific |
| أفضل دكتورة جلدية في دبي هيلز لعلاج الكلف؟ (our translation: best female dermatologist in Dubai Hills for melasma?) | UAE | Arabic | mixed |
| Best med spa in Los Angeles for Botox? | Los Angeles | English | compare |
| Which med spa in Orlando has a real doctor on site and good reviews? | Orlando | English | trust |
| How much do lip fillers cost in Atlanta and where is safe? | Atlanta | English | price |
| Best place for CoolSculpting in Atlanta? | Atlanta | English | specific |
| Mejor dermatólogo en Charlotte que hable español (our translation: best Spanish-speaking dermatologist in Charlotte) | Charlotte | Spanish | mixed |
In the US set, the 40 English questions were 16 specific, 12 compare, 8 price and 4 trust. A clinic with only a homepage and a list of services has nothing that matches "laser for dark skin in Nashville". Narrow questions need narrow pages.
What AI relied on for med spa answers: UAE and US
Both studies used Claude with Anthropic's live web search, each question asked once on 21 October 2026, because it lists every source it used. Our plans track ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI).
| Claude with live web search | UAE aesthetic clinics (50 questions) | US med spas and dermatology (50 questions) |
|---|---|---|
| Answers naming at least one clinic | 98% (49 of 50) | 86% (43 of 50) |
| Clinics named per answer, when any | 3.55 | 4.1 |
| Answers that named no one | 4% (2 answers) | 14% (7 answers), the highest of 10 US industries |
| Sources cited | 474 | 463 |
| Clinic and other websites | 87.1% | 35.2% |
| Directories, booking and "best of" list sites | 7.4% | 35.4% |
| Spam-style pages on unrelated sites | Not a problem in UAE answers | 18.1%, in 29 of 50 answers |
| Review platforms | 1.3% | 0.9% |
| Most cited sites | heliumdoc.com (18), fresha.com (17, in 14 answers) | realself.com (34, in 8 answers), fresha.com (18, in 12 answers) |
| Share of mentions taken by the five most-named clinics | 7% | 7.4% |
| Second language | Arabic: 3.16 clinics per answer against 3.96 in English; 95.3% of Arabic citations were Arabic pages | Spanish: 80% named a clinic; 26.4% of sources were Spanish pages |
The UAE study counted HeliumDoc as "other websites", so the real UAE directory share is higher. Full numbers: our UAE aesthetics report and US med spa report.
- The two markets read different things. In the UAE, clinic sites were most of what AI read. In the US, directories weighed as much as clinic sites, and nearly one source in five was a spam page.
- Price is the hole in both. The Dubai lip filler answer gave a range, AED 700 to AED 2,500 or more, and named no clinic. In the US, price questions named anyone only half the time.
- Place names travel badly. US answers mixed up Washington state with Washington, DC, and an Arabic Al Nahda question pulled clinics in Jeddah and Riyadh. Write the city and state, or the area and emirate, on every page.
- Nobody owns this market. 92.5% of the 161 US clinics and doctors named appeared only once. One precise page can win one question.
How much do lip fillers cost in Atlanta and where is safe?
The search didn't turn up any Atlanta-specific prices or clinic recommendations. The results are mostly generic guides from low-quality sites, so treat them as rough background only.
What a med spa should publish
| Page | What it must say | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A price page per treatment | Lip filler per syringe, Botox per unit or area, HydraFacial per session, laser per area; the product name; what is included; the date you checked it | UAE price answers repeated clinic pages, such as HydraFacial in Dubai "from as low as 299 AED". US price questions named a clinic only half the time. |
| Medical team | The medical director, every injector, their license type, and which days they work at which location | US "doctor on site" answers took their claims from clinics' own words, such as "physician-owned and operated". In Dubai, titles must match the licence (see the rules below). |
| One page per concern and city | Laser hair removal for dark skin, melasma, acne scars: the device or method, who treats, the city and state or the area and emirate | The most cited US guides were exactly these, but a guide with no clear city was set aside by both Seattle answers as being about Washington, DC. |
| Products and safety | Where your toxins and fillers come from, which products you use, and a link to each injector's license lookup | The FDA tells patients to check the product source and the injector's license. |
| Results gallery | Same person, same light and lens, no editing, written consent on file, typical results and the risks | The advertising rules below. |
Add schema to these pages. Schema is code in the page that tells machines what it is: a clinic, a treatment, a price, opening hours. In our readiness study, aesthetics sites that AI cited passed all seven of our basic checks 72.6% of the time. The basics are the entry ticket; the pages above are what get you named.
The directories and review sites that matter
- UAE: HeliumDoc (18 citations, 15 in Arabic answers), Fresha (cited in 14 of 50 answers, more than any other site), Practo (13, all in English answers) and Doctify. Arabic answers also used Saudi doctor-booking pages (9 citations).
- US: RealSelf (34 citations; for CoolSculpting in Atlanta, all 10 sources were RealSelf pages), Fresha (18 citations in 12 answers), Lantern (11), MediFind (8) and Groupon (8, used for HydraFacial and Botox prices). Spanish-speaking dermatologist questions were answered from health plan directories that list languages.
- Yelp and Google: 5 US answers told clients to check Yelp and 8 pointed to Google reviews or Maps, but none cited a Yelp or Google business page. Clients still check those sites next, so keep them healthy.
Paid awards work against you: one Los Angeles answer noted that a clinic's "Best Med Spa in LA" title came from a paid press release.
Marketing rules that apply to med spas
A summary, checked against the sources below on 22 October 2026. It is not legal or medical advice. Check your own case with your regulator or your own counsel.
United States
- Claims need evidence. The FTC's Health Products Compliance Guidance asks for "competent and reliable scientific evidence" behind health claims. It also says "Testimonials that report results more dramatic than users can generally expect are likely to be deceptive", and that a "Results not typical" line does not fix that.
- Fillers. The FDA describes dermal fillers as FDA-approved medical device implants and advises a licensed provider trained in the injection. It says needle-free devices are not approved for injecting fillers, and recommends against fillers for uses such as breast augmentation and buttock enhancement. Do not advertise those.
- Botox. In April 2024 the FDA warned that counterfeit Botox had been found in multiple states. It told consumers to confirm the product comes from an authorized source and to ask whether the provider is licensed and trained to give it.
- Reviews. The FTC's final rule of 14 August 2024 bans fake reviews (AI-generated ones included), rewards tied to a positive or negative review, undisclosed staff reviews, and suppressing reviews with threats. Google also bans discounts or free services for any review, and asking only happy clients.
- Who may inject. Check your state's medical and nursing boards before you publish staff titles or "doctor on site" claims.
United Kingdom
- CAP Code rule 12.12: "Prescription-only medicines or prescription-only medical treatments may not be advertised to the public." Rule 12.1: objective claims must be backed by evidence, if relevant from trials on people. Ask your prescriber which of your injectables that covers before you name them on a page.
Dubai, UAE
- The DHA's Standards for Medical Advertisement Content on Social Media (issue 1.1) say the clinic's official account must show its MOHAP medical advertisement licence number (5.2), and the Medical Director must approve content that names the clinic (5.3).
- Staff may not use titles that differ from their DHA licence, such as "Aesthetic Specialist", "Cosmetologist" or "Anti-Aging Specialist" (6.1). Every patient shown needs documented consent (6.10).
- Words such as "the best", "safest", "has no side effects", "100%" and "immediate results" must not be used (6.11). Before and after images must show the same person with the same lens and no editing, with a statement that results may vary, and the risks (9.6).

What we would do, month by month
- Day 1. We agree your commercial questions with you: treatment, price and city. We record who ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI) name today, with dated screenshots. You name the person, usually your medical director, who approves pages.
- Month 1. Technical basics: robots.txt lets the AI search bots in (OAI-SearchBot is the one ChatGPT search uses), page text is readable without scripts, schema is in place, and your details match everywhere, including Google Business Profile. Then price pages for your five most-asked treatments, and the medical team page.
- Month 2. One page per concern and location, and a results gallery rebuilt to the rules. On Growth and Authority we also clean up RealSelf, Fresha and your other profiles, and set up an honest way to ask every client for a review.
- Month 3. We re-check the same questions and fix any page the answers misread. On Growth and Authority we work on mentions on trusted outside sites, such as local health media. Never paid awards.
- Day 90. We compare your score with day one. You keep going, change the plan or stop.

The audit is 100% credited to month one if you sign within 30 days. Every plan includes traditional SEO and Google Business Profile work, runs month to month with no lock-in and no setup fee, and is 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. USD details are at adjoltz.com/us; AED prices are on our homepage.
Which plan fits: a single clinic selling in English starts with Foundation. It leaves out directory clean-up, and in the US directories were as big a source as clinic sites, so on Foundation your team keeps RealSelf and Fresha current. A UAE or Gulf clinic with Arabic-speaking clients fits Growth. Several locations point to Authority. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes during Dubai working hours.
How we work: Adjoltz is a Dubai team (Adjoltz FZE, Ajman Free Zone licence 58339) with no office outside the UAE. We work remotely on WhatsApp and email, with video calls for the day-one and day-90 reviews, and invoice in USD or AED from the UAE. We need access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile, your real prices, and one person who approves pages quickly. We write in English, and in Arabic on Growth and Authority. We do not write or track Spanish pages.
Our guarantee. In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. No lock-in after that. The rules are on our guarantee page.
What we don't promise
- No "you'll be first on ChatGPT". No one can promise how an assistant answers.
- No guaranteed Google rankings or booking numbers.
- No paid spots on "best med spa" lists or paid awards, and no fake or paid reviews, which the FTC's 2024 rule bans.
- No medical, legal or compliance sign-off. Your medical director and your regulator decide what you publish.
- No Spanish pages, no office outside the UAE, and no partnership with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic. We have none.
