AI SEO in Australia means getting your business named inside the answer when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews which tradie, physio, conveyancer or agent to use. The work is to find the exact questions your buyers ask, publish the clearest answer to each, and make sure the Australian review and listing sites AI reads say the same thing about you.
Adjoltz does this remotely from Dubai, with traditional SEO included, from USD 1,249 a month, month to month. In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.
How many Australians use AI, and which tools?
We could not find a recent official count of how many Australians use AI, so Microsoft's estimate is the national figure we use. What the other numbers say for a business:
- Bigger competitors are already using AI. The government's AI adoption tracker found adoption rising with size, and highest in retail (46%) and health and education (45%). If you are a sole trader, the firm down the road with 30 staff probably already uses it.
- Copilot matters a bit more here. Microsoft Copilot had 7.37% of AI chatbot referrals in Australia, against 2.26% in the UAE, and Bing had 9.17% of searches. We check how your site looks to Bing as well as Google.
- Young buyers moved off social. Since 10 December 2025, age-restricted social media platforms must take reasonable steps to stop Australians under 16 from having accounts (eSafety). Our reading: for tutoring, sport and anything else a parent books for a teenager, the search happens on the parent's phone, often in an AI answer.
Google's AI answers and ChatGPT ads in Australia
Google rolled out AI Overviews Australia wide on 29 October 2024, and AI Mode in English on 8 October 2025. So for a large share of Australian searches, the first thing a buyer reads is an AI summary built from a few pages, not ten blue links.
OpenAI has also launched ChatGPT ads in Australia, and its self-service Ads Manager is open to Australian advertisers. That raises a fair question: why not just buy ads? Because OpenAI says ads in ChatGPT "are clearly labeled and separate from ChatGPT's answers, and advertising does not influence the answers ChatGPT provides." An ad buys a labelled box next to the answer. Being named inside the answer still depends on what the AI finds when it searches, and that is the part we work on.
Where AI looks for "best X near me" answers in Australia
In our study of 500 UAE buyer questions, 79.4% of the sources AI cited were businesses' own sites and other websites, 9.5% were directories and listings, and 38% had a "best" or "top" style title. We have not run the same study in Australia yet. These are the Australian places where reviews, listings and official records live, which is what live search finds:
| Category | Reviews and listings | Official record a buyer, or an AI, can check |
|---|---|---|
| Trades and home services | hipages, Yellow Pages, ProductReview.com.au, Google reviews | State trade licence registers; ASIC registers for the company |
| Health practitioners | Healthengine (find and book), Google reviews, ProductReview.com.au | The Ahpra register: if a name is on it, the practitioner is allowed to practise |
| Real estate agents | realestate.com.au, Domain, RateMyAgent, Google reviews | State real estate licensing; ASIC registers |
| Migration agents | Google reviews, ProductReview.com.au | The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) |
| Any business | Google Business Profile, Yellow Pages, ProductReview.com.au | ASIC registers |
Two things we check first for any Australian client: that your registration numbers (Ahpra, MARA, your licence) appear on your own pages, so a follow-up like "is this agent registered?" finds them on your site; and that your name, suburb, hours and prices match across Google, your directory profiles and your website. When two sources disagree, the AI has to guess.
Australian rules on reviews and claims
AI reads your reviews and claims as text, and the ACCC has gone to court over both. Three cases explain the rules better than any summary:
- Meriton: you can't hide the people likely to complain. The Federal Court found Meriton engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct by stopping guests it suspected would review it badly from getting TripAdvisor's review email, including by "inserting additional letters into guests' email addresses." Asking only your happy customers for reviews works the same way, so we don't do it.
- Electrodry: fake testimonials cost money. The Federal Court ordered the franchisor to pay $215,000 in penalties over fake testimonials on Google, True Local and Yelp.
- Employsure: search ads are claims too. Employsure was ordered to pay a $3 million penalty over Google ads that implied it was a government agency. A page written to be quoted by AI is a public claim in the same way.
Two more rules matter when you ask customers for reviews or follow up leads. The Spam Act requires consent before marketing emails or texts, a clear sender and an easy unsubscribe (ACMA). And Australian Privacy Principle 7 limits using personal information for direct marketing (OAIC). If your review requests go out by email or text, they need to fit both.
Questions Australian buyers ask, and what gets a business named
Examples of the questions we put on an Australian client's list. These are not recorded AI answers.
| Buyer question | What your page needs to say |
|---|---|
| "Which electrician in Brisbane installs home batteries, and what does it cost?" | Installed price ranges, any rebate explained in plain words, your licence number, the suburbs you cover, and a hipages profile that matches |
| "Conveyancer in Perth with a fixed fee for first home buyers?" | The fixed fee in dollars, what it includes and excludes, typical timelines, and who it is not for |
| "Registered migration agent in Adelaide for partner visas?" | Your MARA number on the page, what you handle, fees, and how a first consultation works |
| "Physio near Bondi open before 7am?" | Real early hours, prices, health fund information, and your physios' Ahpra registration |
| "Which agent sold the most houses in my suburb in Geelong last year?" | Recent sales you can prove, a RateMyAgent profile that says the same, and a suburb page with real numbers |
The more specific the question, the fewer pages answer it. "Best electrician in Brisbane" goes to whoever the lists rank; "home batteries in Brisbane, with the price" goes to the page that says exactly that, and most businesses don't have one.
How we work with Australian clients from Dubai
- Remote, by design. We have no Australian office. Day to day we use WhatsApp and email; the day-one review and the day-90 review are video calls.
- Time zones. Sydney is 7 hours ahead of Dubai during daylight saving (4 October 2026 to 4 April 2027) and 6 hours the rest of the year. Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory don't change their clocks, and Perth is 4 hours ahead of Dubai all year. Our morning is your afternoon on the east coast.
- Australian English. Pages use Australian spelling and words, dollar prices, suburbs and your real licence and registration numbers.
- Invoicing. Adjoltz FZE invoices in USD from the UAE. Ask your accountant how GST applies to services bought from overseas in your case.
- What we need from you. Access to your website, Search Console and Google Business Profile, your real prices and registration numbers, and one person who can approve pages quickly.
Plans and prices in USD
The same fixed prices we publish at adjoltz.com/us. Traditional SEO is included in every plan, and every plan tracks ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI).
| AI Visibility Audit | Foundation | Growth | Authority | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | USD 549, one time, 100% credited to month one if you sign within 30 days | USD 1,249 a month | USD 2,349 a month | USD 4,399 a month |
| Questions tracked | 30 buyer questions | 25, one market and one language | 40 + 40 (English + Arabic) | 60 + 60 (English + Arabic) |
| Re-checks | One full check, ready in 10 working days | Monthly | Every 2 weeks | Weekly |
| Pages written or refreshed | A 90-day plan your team can follow | 100 a month | 200 a month | 300 a month |
| Outside mentions | Which websites AI trusts in your industry | Not included | Every 2 months | Every month |
Month to month, no lock-in, no setup fee, 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. For most Australian businesses, Foundation in English is the natural place to start; Growth adds Arabic, which helps only if you sell to Arabic speakers. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes during Dubai working hours.

The full rules are on our guarantee page.
