AI SEO means getting your business named inside the answer when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI who to use. The AI runs a web search, reads a few pages and names a short list. So the work is to find the exact questions your buyers ask, make your site the clearest answer to each, and get the outside sites the AI reads to say the same thing.
Adjoltz does this for UAE businesses in English and Arabic, with traditional SEO included, from AED 4,500 a month. If you don't rank for at least 3 commercial questions within 30 days, we refund 100% of what you paid.
Why this matters more in the UAE than almost anywhere
A UAE buyer is more likely than almost anyone to ask an AI first. In the checks we run for clients, a "who should I use" answer usually names about three businesses, not ten. If you are not one of the three, that buyer never sees you.
Google search now opens with an AI answer for many questions too, and Ahrefs found the top result gets a 58% lower click rate when one is present. Rankings still matter, because Google's AI pulls from Google's index. But ranking and being named are now two scores, and we track both.
How an AI answer gets put together
The big AI assistants follow roughly the same loop when a question needs current facts:
- It decides whether to search. OpenAI says ChatGPT "may search the web automatically when your question would benefit from current information." Otherwise it answers from training, which can be months old.
- It rewrites the question into search queries. OpenAI's example: "good restaurants near me" becomes "top restaurants San Francisco", using the general location from the user's IP address. Google calls its version query fan-out: many related searches at once, one per sub-topic.
- It searches an index. Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode use Google's own index and ranking systems. ChatGPT runs its own crawler, OAI-SearchBot, and "sometimes partners with other search providers", Microsoft among them. Anthropic's subprocessor list names Brave Search for Claude's web search.
- It reads a handful of pages. A page the AI cannot fetch does not exist for it. If your robots.txt or firewall blocks the crawler, you are out before the answer starts.
- It writes the answer and cites some pages. OpenAI says ChatGPT ranks results using "multiple factors" and that "placement is not guaranteed."
- The buyer asks a follow-up, and the loop runs again. "Is the first one really good?" sends the AI to reviews, forums and comparison posts, where reputations are won or lost.
You can only be named if pages by you, or about you, show up in those searches. Our ChatGPT SEO and Google AI Overviews pages go deeper on each engine.
The questions that matter: generic, specific, English and Arabic
This is how we sort buyer questions when we build a client's list:
| Question type | Example | What the AI tends to read | What gets you named |
|---|---|---|---|
| Generic "best" | "What's the best dental clinic in Dubai Marina?" | Top 10 lists, directories, Google Business Profile, reviews | Being on the lists the AI reads, with the same facts everywhere and recent reviews |
| Specific situation | "I'm 24 and I have this rash on my arm. Who should I see in Dubai this week?" | Pages that answer that exact situation | A page that answers it plainly: who you treat, price range, how fast someone can book, which area |
| Price or process | "How much does a free zone licence with two visas cost in 2026?" | Pages with current numbers and dates | The real price, what it includes and when it was last checked |
| Comparison | "Is X or Y better for a first-time founder?" | Reviews, forums, comparison posts | An honest comparison page and reviews that hold up |
| Arabic | Any of the above, asked in Arabic | Arabic pages, and there are far fewer of them | A real Arabic page, written for Arabic readers |
What we see in our own work:
- Specific questions are easier to win than "best" questions. A "best clinic" answer leans on whoever the lists rank. A very specific question gets answered from the page that answers exactly that, and most businesses have none.
- Arabic is wide open. On 20 and 21 October 2026, our analytics recorded 4 ChatGPT visits to adjoltz.com. One landed on our Arabic blog post about WhatsApp calls in the UAE, so ChatGPT cited an Arabic page. Most UAE businesses have no Arabic pages at all.
- A translation plugin is not an Arabic page. The browser's translate button works on the visitor's screen. A crawler reads the page's code, so it still sees English. Google says it uses a page's visible content to decide its language, and recommends a separate URL for each language.
Our method, step by step
- An approved question list. We draft it in week 1 from your real enquiries (WhatsApp chats, calls, emails), your Search Console data and what AI already says about your competitors. You approve it, and it stays fixed for the term so the score means something.
- A day-one score, with screenshots. We ask every question on ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI) in clean sessions and save each answer: are you named, who is named instead, which websites were cited. As one 2026 study put it, "answers can vary across runs, prompts, and time", so the score is a list of real answers, not one number.
- Site fixes so AI can read you. OAI-SearchBot, Googlebot, bingbot and Claude-SearchBot must reach the site, firewall and CDN included. Since July 2025, Cloudflare has asked every new domain whether to allow AI crawlers, and one "no" can hide you from ChatGPT. We also fix indexing, titles, snippet settings and structured data, and set Search Console's Search generative AI control to Include.
- Pages that answer the exact questions. One page per real buyer situation, with the facts AI quotes: price, timing, area, who it is for and who it is not for. English and Arabic are written separately. Your plan's page count covers new pages and refreshes of old ones.
- The same facts everywhere. Name, address, hours, prices and services must match on your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Instagram and directories. When the AI finds two versions, it has to guess. We add an llms.txt file (a plain-text summary of your site for AI tools) as cheap hygiene, not a ranking trick: Google says Google Search does not use it.
- Outside mentions. For "best" questions the AI repeats the lists and directories it finds, so we get you listed where it looks: industry directories, editorial lists that accept submissions, local publications. We do not buy list spots.
- Reviews. The most underrated part of the work. See below.
- Re-checks on your plan's schedule, always on the same list.
- One short report a month. Your score, your competitors, what we shipped (with links), which leads came from AI, and what did not move.
- The day-90 review. We compare your score with day one. Then you choose: keep going, change the plan, or stop.
Why 92% good reviews can read like 50/50
Our team noticed this while testing. A clinic has 92% positive reviews and 8% negative. A buyer gets three names, then asks "is the first one really good?" The AI says something like "most people say the staff are great, but some say the waiting times are long." On screen, that "but some say" weighs as much as the praise, and a 92 to 8 split reads like a coin toss.
So we fix or answer the complaints that repeat, reply to each with facts, and ask real, happy customers for fresh reviews so recent feedback outweighs old complaints. Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help local ranking. We never write, buy or fake reviews.

The guarantee, and what we don't promise
OpenAI's help center says that in ChatGPT search, "placement is not guaranteed." No AI company offers a way to pay for, or guarantee, a place inside its answers, and OpenAI says its ads "do not influence the answers ChatGPT gives you." Anyone promising "#1 on ChatGPT" is promising something nobody controls.
So we guarantee something narrower that we can stand behind. If you don't rank for at least 3 commercial questions within 30 days, we refund 100% of what you paid. It is checked on the question list you approved, with screenshots of every answer as proof for both sides.
What we promise, in writing
- A fixed list of buyer questions that you approve
- A day-one score, with screenshots
- Re-checks on the schedule in your plan
- An honest report every month, even when nothing moved
- A day-90 review where you decide what happens next
What we don't promise
- "You'll be #1 on ChatGPT"
- Guaranteed Google rankings
- Paid spots in "best agency" lists
- Fake reviews or fake mentions
- Long lock-in contracts
How we count leads from AI
We measure leads, not traffic. Pew found people clicked a link inside Google's AI summary on just 1% of visits, so what matters is how many who arrive start a conversation. We set up four things:
- The ChatGPT tag. ChatGPT adds
utm_source=chatgpt.comto links it cites. On adjoltz.com, ChatGPT visitors arrive with the tag and no referrer, so referrer-based reports call them direct traffic. Between 9 and 15 October 2026 many ChatGPT links lost the tag too, until it came back (Search Engine Roundtable). Never rely on one signal. - Tagged WhatsApp links. Every WhatsApp button carries the page it sits on, so a chat that starts on a page ChatGPT cited is counted against that page.
- GA4's AI Assistant channel. It groups referrals from ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot and Grok. Visits from Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode are not in it; they count as normal Google search.
- Asking every lead. "How did you find us?" covers the blind spots: AI Overviews, a copied number, a WhatsApp link shown straight in the AI's reply.
For scale: our own pixel counted 4 ChatGPT visits to adjoltz.com in 2 days, and 1 of the 4 tapped WhatsApp. Small numbers, but each was a person an AI had just pointed to us.
What we need from you
- Access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile.
- One person who can approve pages quickly. Most delays are approvals, not writing.
- Your real facts: prices, timings, licences, service areas. AI quotes numbers.
- A sample of real customer questions, such as recent WhatsApp enquiries.
- 30 minutes a month for the report.
A realistic timeline
| When | What happens | What you should see |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 5 | Question list approved, day-one score, crawler and indexing check | Where you stand, and who wins your questions today |
| Weeks 1 to 3 | Site fixes, first pages live, profiles made consistent | Robots.txt changes reach ChatGPT search in about 24 hours (OpenAI). On one client site, a new homepage title showed in Google 3 days after going live |
| Day 30 | Guarantee check on the approved list | Named for at least 3 commercial questions, or 100% back |
| Days 30 to 90 | More pages, outside mentions, review work | Specific questions move first. "Best" questions move slower |
| Day 90 | Review against day one | Keep going, change the plan, or stop |
Some fixes show up in a few weeks. Bigger changes usually take 60 to 90 days, because they depend on other websites and on how often each AI's index refreshes. Things also break where nobody looks: on one client site, a cached sitemap hid 22 new pages for about two weeks (ANCFZ case study). Now we open the sitemap after every publish.
Why a specialist team, and not a tool or a freelancer
A 5-minute tool report lists technical scores. It does not tell you which buyer questions you lose, who wins them, which websites the AI read, or what to change first. Our audit answers those four things, and your own team can act on it if you don't hire us.
Volume (up to 120 questions and 300 pages a month, in two languages) is the easy part. The hard part is knowing which lever moves which answer, so pages don't go out blind.
Our case studies show real client answers. ChatGPT names The Setup Collective first for "Where can I get Christmas family photos taken in Dubai?" and Hype first for "Where can I buy good school backpacks for kids in Dubai?". ANCFZ was named or cited in 7 of 12 commercial AI questions in a sweep on 10 July 2026.
