AI SEO in the Gulf means getting your business named when a buyer in Kuwait City, Manama or Muscat asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI who to choose. Across all six GCC countries the picture is the same in one way: ChatGPT and Gemini carry 91% to 96% of AI referral traffic and Google runs more than 93% of searches. It differs in another: how many people use AI, and what the law lets you send them.
Adjoltz does this remotely from Dubai, in Arabic and English, with traditional SEO included. Plans start at AED 4,500 a month (about KWD 377, BHD 462 or OMR 472). In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.
The six GCC markets side by side
| Country | Working-age people using generative AI (Microsoft, Q2 2026) | ChatGPT + Gemini share of AI chatbot referrals (Statcounter, Sep 2026) | Google share of search | Time vs Dubai |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UAE | 73.3% (1st in the world) | 94.2% | 93.47% | Same |
| Qatar | 43.5% (10th) | 91.5% | 93.38% | 1 hour behind |
| Saudi Arabia | 31.4% (25th) | 91.5% | 94.46% | 1 hour behind |
| Oman | 27.6% | 95.0% | 93.13% | Same |
| Kuwait | 22.6% | 96.4% | 94.3% | 1 hour behind |
| Bahrain | Not in the report | 95.6% | 97.1% | 1 hour behind |
Three things stand out. AI use varies by a factor of three, from 73.3% in the UAE to 22.6% in Kuwait, against 18.8% worldwide. ChatGPT leads everywhere, from 75% of AI referrals in Saudi Arabia to 82.94% in Kuwait. And Google's own AI answers reach all six: Google's help pages list each country for both AI Overviews and AI Mode, with Arabic among the supported languages. So the same two tools, ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI), are the ones our plans track in every Gulf market.
Oman
Oman has the best national data of the three. Its statistics centre, NCSI, surveyed 1,793 adult Omanis in Arabic, with data collected in May 2026:
NCSI's 43% counts Omani adults; Microsoft's 27.6% counts everyone of working age in the country, so the two are not comparable. The 69% figure is the one that matters most for a business. Most Omani users check what the AI told them, which means your Google profile, your reviews and your own site have to agree with each other. If the AI names you and the buyer then finds different hours or prices elsewhere, you lose the trust the answer gave you.
- Connected homes. 82.5% of households had fixed internet in 2025, and there were 123.45 mobile subscriptions per 100 people (NCSI).
- A local model. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and IT lists "Oman GPT: A large Omani language model" among its AI projects, implemented in 2024. Our plans don't track it.
- Marketing needs written consent. Article 22 of the Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) says the controller must get "the written consent of the data subject prior to transmitting any advertising or marketing material of a commercial nature." Its Executive Regulation (Ministerial Decision 34/2024) adds a way to stop messages, free of charge. We read both in unofficial English translations.
- No misleading ads. The Consumer Protection Law (Royal Decree 66/2014) bans false or misleading advertising (Article 20) and advertising before the required approvals are in place (Article 4).
- Where listings live. talabat for food delivery, OpenSooq for classifieds, and Google Business Profile for everything else.
Kuwait
Kuwait has the lowest AI use in Microsoft's Gulf figures, 22.6% in Q2 2026, up from 21.1%. But among people who do use AI chatbots, ChatGPT's lead is the biggest in the Gulf: 82.94% of AI referrals, with Gemini at 13.45%. CITRA, the communications regulator, puts household internet penetration at 99.4% and counts 4.12 million 5G subscribers.
- Two languages. India's Ministry of External Affairs alone counts 1,038,745 Indians living in Kuwait, so many buyers ask in English while Kuwaiti buyers often ask in Arabic. CITRA's data privacy regulation for communications and IT providers requires information to be given "in easy terms in both English and Arabic."
- Licences for ads and online publishing. The Ministry of Information lists a commercial advertising service and e-publishing licences among its services. If you run paid content, check what applies to you.
- Where listings live. talabat for food delivery, Boshamlan for real estate, and Google Business Profile.
- Currency. The dinar is pegged to an undisclosed basket of currencies, not to the US dollar alone (Central Bank of Kuwait). The other Gulf currencies are fixed to the dollar, like the dirham, so the KWD figures below are the only ones that drift.
Bahrain
Bahrain is not in Microsoft's AI diffusion report, so there is no comparable figure for AI use. What the data does show is a very connected, very Google-heavy market: Google had 97.1% of searches in September 2026, the highest share of any market we cover, and ChatGPT and Gemini carried 95.6% of AI referrals.
- Heavy mobile use. The TRA counted 2.31 million mobile subscribers in Q2 2026, mobile penetration of 144%, and average mobile data use of 87 GB a month.
- Marketing works on opt-out. Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 30 of 2018) gives people the right to object to direct marketing free of charge (Article 19), and once they object, marketing must stop "within a period not exceeding 10 working days" (Article 20). That is different from Oman's and Qatar's consent-first rules.
- No misleading impressions. Article 6 of the Consumer Protection Law (No. 35 of 2012) says a supplier or advertiser "shall avoid giving a false or misleading impression to the consumer."
- Where listings live. talabat for food delivery, Property Finder Bahrain for property, and Google Business Profile. India's Ministry of External Affairs counts 320,226 Indians in Bahrain, so English pages matter too.
Arabic answers across the Gulf
We have not run our study in these three countries. Our study of 250 Arabic buyer questions about UAE businesses, asked on 21 October 2026, shows how Arabic answers are built anywhere in the region:
- 90.2% of the sources behind Arabic answers were Arabic pages, so an English page does not help an Arabic question.
- Arabic answers named 3.7 businesses on average against 4.9 in English, and named no one in 11.6% of answers against 5.2%.
- When the Arabic name of an area also exists in another country, answers drifted there: at least 11 of the 250 described businesses in Saudi Arabia.
The fixes are cheap. Write the area and the city together in both scripts, such as "الخوير، مسقط (Al Khuwair, Muscat)" or "السالمية، الكويت (Salmiya, Kuwait)". Use one Arabic spelling of your brand everywhere. Keep prices and hours identical in Arabic and English.
Questions Gulf buyers ask, and what gets a business named
Examples of the questions we put on a client's list. These are not recorded AI answers.
| Buyer question | What your page needs to say |
|---|---|
| "أفضل مركز علاج طبيعي في الخوير بمسقط؟" (Best physiotherapy centre in Al Khuwair, Muscat?) | An Arabic page for that branch: area and city in both scripts, conditions treated, prices in OMR, therapists' names |
| "Tour company in Muscat for a 3-day desert trip with young kids?" | The itinerary, what is included, the price per person, pickup points and what is not suitable for children |
| "Which real estate office in Salmiya has 2-bedroom flats under 400 KD?" | Current listings with real rents, the areas you cover, and the same details on your Boshamlan profile |
| "مطعم في الكويت يوصل للجهراء بعد منتصف الليل؟" (Restaurant in Kuwait that delivers to Jahra after midnight?) | Real delivery hours and areas, and the same name and hours on talabat |
| "Dentist in Seef, Bahrain, that takes insurance and opens on Saturday?" | Saturday hours, insurers accepted, price ranges in BHD, and the dentists' names |
How we work with Gulf clients from Dubai
- Remote, in two languages. We have no offices outside the UAE. We work on WhatsApp and email, with video calls for the day-one review and the day-90 review, in Arabic or English.
- Time zones. Oman is on the same time as Dubai. Kuwait and Bahrain are on UTC+3, 1 hour behind. None of them change their clocks.
- Arabic written for Gulf readers. Clear Modern Standard Arabic with your real area names, prices in your currency and the words your buyers use, approved by your team before anything goes live.
- Invoicing. Adjoltz FZE invoices in AED from the UAE.
Plans and prices
Prices are fixed in AED. Local figures are approximate, at the UAE Central Bank's rates of 21 October 2026 (1 KWD = AED 11.923701, 1 BHD = AED 9.733634, 1 OMR = AED 9.538713). Traditional SEO is included in every plan.

All plans track ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI). Month to month, no lock-in, no setup fee, 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. For most consumer businesses in the Gulf, Growth fits best because it covers Arabic and English. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes.
The guarantee, and what we don't promise
In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. The full rules are on our guarantee page. OpenAI says placement in ChatGPT search "is not guaranteed," so we don't promise:
- "You'll be first on ChatGPT"
- Results on assistants our plans don't track, such as Oman GPT
- Guaranteed Google rankings
- Paid spots in "best of" lists, or fake reviews
- Offices in Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman, or any partnership with OpenAI or Google. We have none
