AI SEO in Saudi Arabia means getting your business named when a buyer in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI who to choose. For most Saudi businesses the real work is in Arabic: the answers are built from Arabic pages, and they go wrong when your district, your city or the Arabic spelling of your name is unclear.
Adjoltz does this remotely from Dubai, in Arabic and English, with traditional SEO included. Plans start at AED 4,500 a month (about SAR 4,600). In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.
How many people in Saudi Arabia use AI, and which tools?
The two adoption numbers measure different things. CST, the Kingdom's communications regulator, surveys people; Microsoft counts people aged 15 to 64 from device data. Both say the same thing: AI use in Saudi Arabia is high and rising fast.
Some details from CST's report matter for anyone selling to Saudi buyers:
- ChatGPT was the most downloaded app in the Kingdom in 2025, ahead of NAFATH and TikTok, and chatgpt.com was the 8th most visited website. The most downloaded AI apps, in order: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Perplexity, Manus, NotebookLM and HUMAIN.
- Use differs a lot by region and group. Tabuk was highest at 58.5%, then the Eastern Region at 53.8% and Riyadh at 50.2%; Makkah was 43.2% and Jazan 30.7%. More women (52.8%) than men (39.4%) used AI, and 55.7% of people in their twenties.
- Google is still where most searches start. It had 94.46% of searches in September 2026 (Statcounter). Google's AI Overviews have been available across MENA and in Arabic since 20 May 2025, and AI Mode arrived in English in August 2025 and in Arabic on 8 October 2025.
- Buyers shop local. 76.9% of people shop online, and 95.3% of online shoppers buy from local websites, against 55.4% from international ones.
- Peak time is Friday night. Internet use peaks on Fridays, between 9pm and 11pm. That is when a buyer who just got your name from an AI is most likely to message you.
What about Saudi-built AI?
HUMAIN, the AI company backed by the Public Investment Fund, launched HUMAIN Chat in August 2025. Its App Store listing says it runs on ALLaM 34B, an Arabic model "designed and built in Saudi Arabia," and that it has real-time web search. It was 10th on CST's list of most downloaded AI apps in 2025. Our plans track ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI), which carry most AI referral traffic today. An assistant that searches the web reads the same public pages, so the work below helps there too, but we don't measure it and don't claim results on it.
Arabic answers: where Saudi businesses win or get lost
We have not yet run a study inside Saudi Arabia. But our study of 250 Arabic buyer questions about UAE businesses, asked on 21 October 2026, shows how Arabic answers are built, and much of it was about Saudi pages:
- Arabic answers read Arabic pages. 90.2% of the sources behind the Arabic answers were Arabic pages. An English page does not get used for an Arabic question.
- Saudi pages are a big part of the Arabic web. Even for questions about Dubai, live search pulled Saudi sites into 46 of the 250 Arabic answers (at least 87 citations), and at least 11 answers described businesses in Riyadh or Jeddah instead. Our reading: for many Arabic search terms there are more Saudi pages to find than UAE ones.
- District names collide. The mix-ups came from names that exist in more than one place. An Nahda (النهضة) is a district in Riyadh and in Jeddah, and search confused it with Al Nahda (النهدة) in Dubai and Sharjah. Riyadh's Al Khaleej district was confused with Business Bay, whose Arabic name is الخليج التجاري.
- Names get written in Arabic script. In Arabic answers, one assistant wrote 62.2% of business names in Arabic script only. A business with no settled Arabic name is hard to match, and easy to misspell.
For a Saudi business, the lessons are practical. Write the district and the city together every time, in Arabic and English: "حي النهضة، الرياض (An Nahda, Riyadh)", not just "النهضة". Pick one Arabic spelling of your brand and use it everywhere. CST's list of top Google searches in the Kingdom includes "قوقل", the Saudi way of writing Google, so if buyers spell your name two ways, say both once on your site. Google launched AI Mode in Arabic for Modern Standard Arabic (فصحى), so clear MSA with the local words people actually type is the safest choice.
Where AI looks for "best X in Riyadh" answers
In our UAE study, 79.4% of the sources AI cited were businesses' own sites and other websites, 9.5% were directories and listings, and 38% of sources had a "best" or "top" style title. In the Kingdom, these are the places where listings and reviews live, and so where live search finds them:
| Category | Where Saudi listings and reviews live | What to make consistent |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurants and delivery | Google Maps (CST's top navigation app), HungerStation (which says it covers 102 cities), Jahez, Keeta (CST's most downloaded delivery app), Mrsool | Name in Arabic and English, district, delivery hours, menu prices in SAR |
| Clinics and doctors | Vezeeta Saudi (reviews only from patients who booked and visited), Cura, Google reviews | Doctors' names, specialties, insurers accepted, branch districts |
| Real estate | Aqar, Bayut Saudi, Property Finder Saudi, REGA's platforms (FAL brokerage, Ejar) | FAL licence and the REGA advertising licence on each listing |
| Shops and e-commerce | Your Salla or Zid store, noon, Amazon.sa, Haraj (CST's 3rd most visited .sa site) | Product names, prices and delivery times that match your own site |
| Any business | Google Business Profile, your National Address | One address everywhere, including your National Address short code |
Saudi rules that shape what you can publish
- Marketing messages need consent. Article 25 of the Personal Data Protection Law says a business may not use personal means of communication, "including the post and email," to send advertising unless it has prior consent and a clear way to stop. The Implementing Regulation (Articles 28 and 29) adds that consent must be documented and that opting out must be as easy as opting in. If you use the WhatsApp follow-ups in our Growth and Authority plans, we set them up around these rules with you.
- Paid social posts need a Mawthooq licence. The General Authority for Media Regulation licenses individuals who publish advertising content on social media, for 3 years. If you pay creators to talk about you, and AI later reads those posts, check that they are licensed.
- Property ads need a REGA licence. REGA defines an advertising licence for any visual, print or audio ad to sell or deal in a property, and its public service checks an ad licence by its number. Put the number on every listing page.
- Reviews. We do not write, buy or filter reviews, in any country. We help you ask every real customer, reply with facts and fix the complaints that repeat.
Questions Saudi buyers ask, and what gets a business named
Examples of the questions we put on a Saudi client's list. These are not recorded AI answers.
| Buyer question | What your page needs to say |
|---|---|
| "أفضل عيادة أسنان في حي الملقا بالرياض تقبل التأمين؟" (Best dental clinic in Al Malqa, Riyadh, that takes insurance?) | An Arabic page for that branch: district and city in both scripts, the insurers you accept, price ranges in SAR, doctors' names, Saturday hours |
| "Which real estate office in Al Khobar has licensed brokers for villa rentals?" | Your FAL licence, REGA advertising licence numbers on listings, the districts you cover, Ejar contracts explained |
| "مطعم مندي في جدة يوصل بعد منتصف الليل؟" (Mandi restaurant in Jeddah that delivers after midnight?) | Real opening and delivery hours, delivery districts, and the same name and hours on HungerStation, Jahez and Keeta |
| "Which accounting firm in Riyadh sets up ZATCA e-invoicing for a small business?" | What the setup includes, a fixed fee in SAR, how long it takes, and who it is not for |
| "شركة تنظيف مكيفات في الدمام بسعر ثابت؟" (AC cleaning company in Dammam with a fixed price?) | The price per unit in SAR, districts covered, how to book on WhatsApp, and what is extra |
Specific questions are easier to win than "best" questions. A "best clinic in Riyadh" answer leans on whoever the lists rank. A question with a district, an insurer and a day of the week gets answered from the page that says exactly that, and most businesses don't have one.
How we work with Saudi clients from Dubai
- Remote, in two languages. We have no office in the Kingdom. We work on WhatsApp and email, with video calls for the day-one review and the day-90 review, in Arabic or English.
- Same working hours, almost. Riyadh is on UTC+3 with no clock changes, 1 hour behind Dubai.
- Arabic written for Saudi readers. Clear Modern Standard Arabic, with your real district names, prices in SAR and the words your buyers use, approved by your team before anything goes live.
- Invoicing. Adjoltz FZE invoices in AED from the UAE. ZATCA's VAT rules say tax on a supply from a non-resident supplier is paid by the customer under the reverse charge, and withholding tax can apply to payments abroad (Article 68 of the Income Tax Law). Your accountant will know how this applies to you.
Plans and prices
Prices are fixed in AED. SAR figures are approximate, at the UAE Central Bank's rate of 21 October 2026 (1 SAR = AED 0.97902). Traditional SEO is included in every plan.
| AI Visibility Audit | Foundation | Growth | Authority | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | AED 1,950 (about SAR 1,990), one time, 100% credited to month one if you sign within 30 days | AED 4,500 a month (about SAR 4,600) | AED 8,500 a month (about SAR 8,680) | AED 16,000 a month (about SAR 16,340) |
| Questions tracked | 30 buyer questions | 25, one market and one language | 40 + 40 (Arabic + English) | 60 + 60 (Arabic + English) |
| Re-checks | One full check, ready in 10 working days | Monthly | Every 2 weeks | Weekly |
| Pages written or refreshed | A 90-day plan | 100 a month | 200 a month | 300 a month |
| Outside mentions | Which websites AI trusts in your industry | Not included | Every 2 months | Every month |
All plans track ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI). Month to month, no lock-in, no setup fee, 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. For most Saudi consumer businesses, Growth is the plan that fits, because it covers Arabic and English. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes.
The guarantee, and what we don't promise
In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. The full rules are on our guarantee page.
OpenAI says that in ChatGPT search "placement is not guaranteed," and that "advertising does not influence the answers ChatGPT provides." Google says ads keep appearing "in dedicated slots, above and below the AI Overviews." Nobody sells a place inside the answer. So we don't promise:
- "You'll be first on ChatGPT"
- Results on assistants our plans don't track, such as HUMAIN Chat
- Guaranteed Google rankings
- Paid spots in "best of" lists, or fake reviews
- An office in Saudi Arabia, or any partnership with OpenAI, Google or HUMAIN. We have none
