AI SEO in Charlotte means getting your business named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI which agent, restaurant, plumber or clinic to choose. In our study, AI named at least one business in 23 of 25 Charlotte answers. A quarter of the sources (25.3%) were spam-style pages on unrelated sites, and one site, a software company's, supplied 17 of them, in all 5 Charlotte real estate answers. The city's name caused trouble too: a Spanish lip filler question pulled in Charlotte Tilbury lipstick pages.
Adjoltz does this work remotely from Dubai, with traditional SEO included, from USD 1,249 a month, month to month. In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.
What we asked AI about Charlotte
On 21 October 2026 we sent 500 real buyer questions to Claude with Anthropic's live web search tool, one call per question, word for word, and saved every answer and every source. 25 were about Charlotte: 5 each about real estate, restaurants, home services and car services, all in English, plus 5 about med spas and dermatology in Spanish.
When AI named businesses, it named 4.9 on average. 9% of the names were individual people, mostly real estate agents.
Read this as a sample, not a verdict. 25 questions is a small number. They were asked once, on one day, to one assistant. Use them to see how AI builds its Charlotte answers, not to judge Charlotte against other cities. We do not rank cities, and the study page explains why.
Where AI got its Charlotte answers
The 25 answers listed 229 sources from 129 different websites:
| Type of source | Charlotte (229 sources) | All 500 answers (4,587 sources) |
|---|---|---|
| Businesses' own websites and other sites | 31.0% | 29.0% |
| Directories, marketplaces and "best of" list sites | 30.1% | 37.3% |
| Off-topic hosts (spam-style pages on unrelated sites) | 25.3% | 15.9% |
| News, city media and guides | 8.3% | 11.0% |
| Review platforms | 3.9% | 3.2% |
| Forums and press releases | 1.3% | 3.8% (with government sites and Wikipedia) |
The off-topic layer. 58 sources came from 33 unrelated websites, in 16 of 25 answers, and they were most of the sources in 5: the condo realtor, the honest agent, the best pizza, deep cleaning prices and the best car wash. One host stood out: a software company's site carried a batch of guides such as "A Guide to Choosing the Best Realtor in Charlotte NC", cited 17 times across all 5 real estate answers. We don't name it, because such sites are often victims of the spam.
The directories. Lantern was cited 8 times in 3 answers. OpenTable was cited 14 times in 2 restaurant answers, 13 of them on its foreign sites (Australia, the UAE, Canada, Singapore and the UK). Redfin (4), HomeLight (3) and Thumbtack (3) followed.
City media. Axios Charlotte was cited 4 times in 3 answers, then WSOC-TV, Charlotte's Got A Lot, Charlotte Magazine and CLTtoday.
Own websites that worked. Tint World, All My Sons Moving, Mark Spain Real Estate and Atlantic Dermatology each had pages cited 4 to 6 times. Yelp was mentioned in 5 answers and cited in none.
Charlotte questions, and who AI named first
Five of the 25 questions, the business named first and what the answer was built on. Results from one run, not rankings or our recommendation. We did not check whether each business is licensed or still open.
| Question, as asked | Named first | What the answer was built on |
|---|---|---|
| "Emergency plumber in Charlotte?" | Roto-Rooter | 6 of 9 sources were businesses' own sites |
| "Where can I get window tinting in Charlotte?" | Tint World | 8 of 9 were two companies' own pages |
| "Best restaurant in Charlotte for a birthday dinner?" | STIR | All 9 were OpenTable pages, 8 on its foreign sites |
| "Best pizza in Charlotte?" | 800° Woodfired Kitchen | 8 of 9 were off-topic hosts; 1 was a Charlotte city guide |
| "Mejor clínica de estética en Charlotte para bótox" (best Botox clinic) | Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte | 5 directory pages (4 of them Lantern), 3 clinic sites, 1 Axios article |
The name "Charlotte" is also a first name. For "Best realtor in Charlotte for buying a condo?", 8 of 9 sources were spam pages, and the only agent named was a Florida agent whose first name is Charlotte. The answer itself spotted the problem:
Best realtor in Charlotte for buying a condo?
That suggests she works mainly in Florida, so confirm whether she serves Charlotte, NC before considering her.
The pizza answer had the same problem: it called most of its sources "low-quality, auto-generated pages", and still named 7 pizzerias, two of them from the one credible city guide it found.
Spanish questions about Charlotte
The 5 Spanish questions were about skin and med spas: the best Spanish-speaking dermatologist, safe laser hair removal, the best Botox clinic, the cost of lip fillers, and the best clinic for skin spots. All 5 were answered in Spanish. 4 named clinics, all from English pages: Lantern listings, clinics' own sites and health plan directories. The lip filler cost question named no one.
By our hand count, 9 of the 45 sources were Spanish-language pages, and none of them was about a clinic in Charlotte. Three were Charlotte Tilbury lipstick pages, matched on the name. Others were clinic listings in Spain, the UK and Australia (one for a laser clinic in Spain called "Carolina"), and a medical training company's price blog. Only 2 of the 5 answers cited any Spanish page.

What this means for a Charlotte business
- Write "Charlotte, North Carolina" in full. "Charlotte" alone matched a cosmetics brand and a person's first name. City and state in titles, first lines and every directory profile.
- Agents: real pages beat the spam. Spam guides were in every Charlotte real estate answer. A page for each buyer type ("condo buyer's agent in Uptown Charlotte", "investor agent in South End"), with your license and recent sales, competes with them directly. Keep Redfin and HomeLight profiles current too.
- Restaurants: check your OpenTable profile. The birthday answer was built only on OpenTable, from its foreign sites, so whatever your profile says travels. Axios Charlotte and the city guides matter too.
- Home services and auto: your own pages work here. The plumber and window tinting answers came mostly from companies' own sites. One page per service and area, with prices.
- Clinics: list your languages wherever you can. The Spanish-speaking dermatologist answer found its lead in a health plan directory that listed languages. Keep insurer directories accurate, including languages spoken.
How we work with Charlotte clients from Dubai
- Remote, and mostly written. We have no office in Charlotte, or anywhere in the US. Adjoltz is a Dubai team (Adjoltz FZE, Ajman Free Zone licence 58339). Day to day we work on WhatsApp and email. The day-one review and the day-90 review are video calls.
- Time zones. Charlotte is on Eastern Time. Dubai is 8 hours ahead of Charlotte during US daylight saving time (the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November) and 9 hours ahead the rest of the year, because the UAE does not change its clocks. So 9am in Charlotte is 5pm in Dubai in summer and 6pm in winter. Our working hours barely overlap with yours, so most of the work runs in writing, and calls are booked at a time that suits both sides.
- English, not Spanish. We write in English, and in Arabic on Growth and Authority. We do not write or track Spanish pages. Charlotte's Spanish answers found no Spanish page about a local clinic, so if your buyers ask in Spanish, a native Spanish writer is worth adding alongside us.
- Invoicing. Adjoltz FZE invoices in USD from the UAE.
- What we need from you. Access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile, your real prices, and one person who can approve pages quickly.
Plans and prices in USD
The same fixed prices we publish at adjoltz.com/us. Traditional SEO is included in every plan, and every plan tracks ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI). Our study used Claude because it lists its sources; our plans track the two assistants most of your buyers use.

Month to month, no lock-in, no setup fee. 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. For a business that sells in English only, Foundation is the natural start. Growth and Authority add Arabic, which helps only if you sell to Arabic speakers. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes during Dubai working hours.
The guarantee, and what we don't promise
In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. There is no lock-in after that. The full rules are on our guarantee page.
What we promise, in writing
- A fixed list of buyer questions you approve
- A day-one score, with screenshots
- Re-checks on your plan's schedule
- An honest monthly report, even when nothing moved
- A day-90 review where you decide what happens next
What we don't promise
- "You'll be first on ChatGPT." OpenAI says placement "is not guaranteed"
- Guaranteed Google rankings
- Paid spots on "best of" lists
- Fake reviews, or reviews paid for a good rating, which the FTC's 2024 rule bans
- Spanish pages. We don't write them
- An office in Charlotte, or a partnership with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic. We have none
