AI SEO in Austin means getting your business named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI which agent, restaurant, school or accountant to choose. In our study, AI named at least one business in 22 of 25 Austin answers, and it leaned on businesses' own websites more than the study as a whole (44.5% of sources, against 29.0%). The weak spot was Spanish: asked for the best Spanish-speaking accountant in Austin, the search found bilingual job ads and named no one.
Adjoltz does this work remotely from Dubai, with traditional SEO included, from USD 1,249 a month, month to month. In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.
What we asked AI about Austin
On 21 October 2026 we sent 500 real buyer questions to Claude with Anthropic's live web search tool, one call per question, word for word, and saved every answer and every source. 25 were about Austin: 5 each about real estate, restaurants, schools and tutoring, and car services, all in English, plus 5 about accountants and tax help in Spanish.
When AI named businesses, it named 5.9 on average. Almost none were individual people (under 1%). The SAT tutor answer listed tutors by first name only, straight from a tutoring directory.
Read this as a sample, not a verdict. 25 questions is a small number. They were asked once, on one day, to one assistant. Use them to see how AI builds its Austin answers, not to judge Austin against other cities. We do not rank cities, and the study page explains why.
Where AI got its Austin answers
The 25 answers listed 227 sources from 136 different websites:
| Type of source | Austin (227 sources) | All 500 answers (4,587 sources) |
|---|---|---|
| Businesses' own websites and other sites | 44.5% | 29.0% |
| Directories, marketplaces and "best of" list sites | 26.0% | 37.3% |
| Off-topic hosts (spam-style pages on unrelated sites) | 14.5% | 15.9% |
| News, city media and guides | 11.0% | 11.0% |
| Review platforms, forums, government sites and press releases | 3.9% | 7.0% |
Own websites and nonprofits. United Way for Greater Austin was cited 9 times in 2 answers, RE/MAX 7 times, a tax law firm 6 times and Spyglass Realty 4 times. For "Which real estate brokerage in Austin is the most trusted?", all 9 sources were two brokerages' own pages. The answer named both and called what it read self-promotion.
The directories. Varsity Tutors (9, all in the SAT tutor answer), Simplifyem (8, property management), Clever (4), Lantern (4) and Niche (4). OpenTable was cited 11 times in 2 restaurant answers, every time on one of its foreign sites: Mexico, Ireland, Singapore, Germany, the UK, Italy, Thailand, Spain and Australia.
City media. Austinot was cited 7 times in 3 answers, then the Austin Chronicle's calendar (4), Alcalde, the Texas Exes magazine (2), The Infatuation (2), the Austin Monitor (2) and KUT.
List titles and spam. 35.2% of Austin sources had a "best" or "top" style title, against 26.3% in the study. 33 sources came from 26 unrelated websites, in 13 of 25 answers. For "Best place to rent a car in Austin without a credit card?", all 9 were, and the answer named no one. Yelp was mentioned in 5 answers and cited in none.
Austin questions, and who AI named first
Five of the 25 questions, the business named first and what the answer was built on. Results from one run, not rankings or our recommendation. We did not check whether each business is licensed or still open.
| Question, as asked | Named first | What the answer was built on |
|---|---|---|
| "Which real estate brokerage in Austin is the most trusted?" | RE/MAX | All 9 sources were two brokerages' own pages |
| "Top property management company in Austin" | Capitol Area Property Mgt | 8 of 9 were directory pages |
| "What are the best Mexican restaurants in Austin?" | La Condesa | 7 of 9 were OpenTable pages on its foreign sites |
| "Best coding classes for kids in Austin?" | Breakout Mentors | 7 of 9 were the schools' own websites |
| "¿Dónde preparan impuestos baratos en Austin?" (where to get cheap tax prep) | Foundation Communities | 9 of 10 were nonprofit and college pages, 7 of them United Way's |
Which real estate brokerage in Austin is the most trusted?
The search didn't turn up an independent ranking of Austin brokerages by trust, so there's no clear answer. The results were mostly self-promotion.
Spanish questions about Austin
The 5 Spanish questions asked for the best Spanish-speaking accountant for a business, an accountant for freelancers, help with IRS debts, cheap tax preparation, and a trusted accountant for an LLC. All 5 were answered in Spanish, and 4 named businesses.
Mejor contador en Austin que hable español para mi negocio
La búsqueda no encontró ningún contador ni firma contable en Austin que hable español. Los resultados fueron principalmente ofertas de empleo bilingües y perfiles de otros profesionales.
By our hand count, only 4 of the 46 sources were Spanish-language pages: two bilingual job ads and a bookkeeping software blog cited twice. One more was in Portuguese. The answers that named someone did it from English pages: tax firms' own sites for IRS debts, United Way and Austin Community College for free tax help, and a CPA directory and firms' own pages for the LLC question.
For a Spanish-speaking accountant in Austin, this is the clearest opening in our Austin data. The question gets asked, and the answer found no one to name.
What this means for an Austin business
- Your own site is read here, so write the page that answers the question. Brokerages, coding schools and tax firms were named from their own pages. One page per service and buyer type, saying Austin, Texas.
- Back claims with facts AI can check. The "most trusted" answer named two firms but called their claims self-promotion. License numbers, review counts with their source, years in business and real client numbers read as facts, not slogans.
- Spanish-speaking professionals: say it. The accountant answer found no one. A single page in Spanish, or even a clear line on your English page and your directory profiles, could make you the only name.
- Restaurants: check your OpenTable profile. It supplied most of the Mexican restaurant answer, from OpenTable's foreign editions, so the details there travel. Austinot and the Austin Chronicle matter too.
- Tutors and schools: directory profiles. The SAT tutor answer came entirely from Varsity Tutors pages and listed tutors by first name. Niche supplied part of the private school answer.
How we work with Austin clients from Dubai
- Remote, and mostly written. We have no office in Austin, or anywhere in the US. Adjoltz is a Dubai team (Adjoltz FZE, Ajman Free Zone licence 58339). Day to day we work on WhatsApp and email. The day-one review and the day-90 review are video calls.
- Time zones. Austin is on Central Time. Dubai is 9 hours ahead of Austin during US daylight saving time (the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November) and 10 hours ahead the rest of the year, because the UAE does not change its clocks. So 9am in Austin is 6pm in Dubai in summer and 7pm in winter. Our working hours barely overlap with yours, so most of the work runs in writing, and calls are booked at a time that suits both sides.
- English, not Spanish. We write in English, and in Arabic on Growth and Authority. We do not write or track Spanish pages. In our Austin data the Spanish-speaking accountant question went unanswered, so if your buyers ask in Spanish, a native Spanish writer is worth adding alongside us.
- Invoicing. Adjoltz FZE invoices in USD from the UAE.
- What we need from you. Access to your website, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile, your real prices, and one person who can approve pages quickly.
Plans and prices in USD
The same fixed prices we publish at adjoltz.com/us. Traditional SEO is included in every plan, and every plan tracks ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI). Our study used Claude because it lists its sources; our plans track the two assistants most of your buyers use.
| AI Visibility Audit | Foundation | Growth | Authority | |

Month to month, no lock-in, no setup fee. 10 to 15% off when you pay yearly. For a business that sells in English only, Foundation is the natural start. Growth and Authority add Arabic, which helps only if you sell to Arabic speakers. The free AI check costs nothing: 10 real buyer questions on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI, with the result on WhatsApp in about 10 minutes during Dubai working hours.
The guarantee, and what we don't promise
In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. There is no lock-in after that. The full rules are on our guarantee page.
What we promise, in writing
- A fixed list of buyer questions you approve
- A day-one score, with screenshots
- Re-checks on your plan's schedule
- An honest monthly report, even when nothing moved
- A day-90 review where you decide what happens next
What we don't promise
- "You'll be first on ChatGPT." OpenAI says placement "is not guaranteed"
- Guaranteed Google rankings
- Paid spots on "best of" lists
- Fake reviews, or reviews paid for a good rating, which the FTC's 2024 rule bans
- Spanish pages. We don't write them
- An office in Austin, or a partnership with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic. We have none
