AI SEO in Seattle

We get Seattle businesses named when buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI who to choose, with traditional SEO included. This page shows what AI said to 27 Seattle questions in our 2026 study, in English and Spanish, and what that means for you.

AI SEO in Seattle means getting your business named when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI which med spa, agent, school or restaurant to choose. In our study, AI named at least one business in 26 of 27 Seattle answers. Seattle answers had far fewer spam pages than the study as a whole (6.0% of sources, against 15.9%) and leaned harder on directories, city magazines such as Seattle Met, and even King County's public services finder. Old pages still mattered: one cheap-eats answer was built mostly on forum posts from around 2006.

Adjoltz does this work remotely from Dubai, with traditional SEO included, from USD 1,249 a month, month to month. In the first 30 days, if AI does not name you for at least 3 commercial questions, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid.

26 of 27Seattle answers named at least one business, 5.1 on average. Study: 93.8%.
44.8%of the 248 sources were directories and marketplaces. Study: 37.3%.
6.0%of sources were off-topic spam-style pages, never the majority in any Seattle answer. Study: 15.9%.
8 of 9sources behind one Spanish personal-trainer answer were Airbnb's Spanish pages.

What we asked AI about Seattle

On 21 October 2026 we sent 500 real buyer questions to Claude with Anthropic's live web search tool, one call per question, word for word, and saved every answer and every source. 27 were about Seattle: 5 each about med spas and skin clinics, real estate, restaurants, and schools and childcare, all in English, plus 7 in Spanish (5 about gyms, trainers and physical therapy, and 2 about dentists).

When AI named businesses, it named 5.1 on average. Almost all were firms: only 2% of the names were individual people, partly because the Seattle mix had no law questions, where people are named most.

Read this as a sample, not a verdict. 27 questions is a small number. They were asked once, on one day, to one assistant. Use them to see how AI builds its Seattle answers, not to judge Seattle against other cities. We do not rank cities, and the study page explains why.

Where AI got its Seattle answers

The 27 answers listed 248 sources from 141 different websites:

Type of sourceSeattle (248 sources)All 500 answers (4,587 sources)
Directories, marketplaces and "best of" list sites44.8%37.3%

Off-topic hosts (spam-style pages on unrelated sites)6.0%15.9%
Social media and forums4.8%1.6%

The directories. Airbnb was cited 10 times, all on its Spanish pages for trainers and fitness stays. Trust Analytica, a "best of" list site, had 8 citations (Botox and driving schools), Varsity Tutors 7 (all in the SAT tutor answer), RealSelf 6, Simplifyem 5, ClearlyRated 4 and Fresha 3. For "Which med spa in Seattle has a real doctor on site and good reviews?", 8 of 10 sources were directories.

City media. Seattle Met was cited 6 times in 3 answers, including its Top Dentists lists. Seattle Magazine, The Infatuation and Hoodline appeared in 3 answers each, and Seattle's Child, The Stranger and the Bellevue Reporter twice each.

Forums and public listings. 4.8% of sources were forums, three times the study's share: Fodor's travel forum (4, in one answer) and the West Seattle Blog (2). Government sites were 2.8%: the after-school answer took 6 of its 10 sources from King County's human services finder and Washington State pages, and 3 more from WA 211 listings.

Little spam. 15 sources came from 12 unrelated websites, in 10 of 27 answers, and they were never most of the sources. We can't say why Seattle had so few: the same lens ran on the same day for every city, and 27 questions is too few to explain it. Yelp was mentioned in 4 answers and cited in none.

Seattle questions, and who AI named first

Five of the 27 questions, the business named first and what the answer was built on. Results from one run, not rankings or our recommendation. We did not check whether each business is licensed or still open.

Question, as askedNamed firstWhat the answer was built on
"Which med spa in Seattle has a real doctor on site and good reviews?"Glow Medispa8 of 10 sources were directories
"Affordable after-school program in Seattle?"Launch6 of 10 were King County and Washington State pages, 3 were WA 211 listings
"Which private school in Seattle is the best?"Lakeside School6 of 9 were schools' own websites
"Cheap but good restaurants in Seattle?"El Camión Adentro5 of 9 were forum threads, mostly on Fodor's
"Mejor entrenador personal para bajar de peso en Seattle" (best personal trainer for weight loss)An individual trainer listed on a trainer directory8 of 9 were Airbnb's Spanish pages

The one Seattle answer that named no business was "Best math tutor in Seattle for SAT prep?". All 9 sources were tutor directory pages with self-described profiles, and the answer would not pick a name from them.

Cheap but good restaurants in Seattle?

Caveats: the Fodor's and eGullet threads date from around 2006, and the cheap-eats guide is from roughly 2013. Prices have likely risen since then, and some places may have closed.

Claude with live web search, asked 21 Oct 2026, Adjoltz study. Excerpt. The answer still named 10 restaurants from those sources.

Where can I get laser hair removal for dark skin in Seattle?

Sapien Skin + Beauty offers laser hair removal in Seattle, but the snippet doesn't say anything about treating darker skin. The Cultura Dermatology result is for Washington, DC, not Seattle.

Claude with live web search, asked 21 Oct 2026, Adjoltz study. Excerpt. "Washington" confused the search: a page for Washington, DC turned up for a question about Seattle, Washington.

Spanish questions about Seattle

The 7 Spanish questions asked for a Spanish-speaking dentist with good reviews, an emergency dentist open now, the best gym, a cheap gym with a pool, a physical therapist for a sports injury, a personal trainer for weight loss and a yoga studio for beginners. All 7 were answered in Spanish and all named between 3 and 6 businesses or people.

17 of the 64 sources were Spanish-language pages, and 10 of those 17 were Airbnb pages. Planet Fitness's Spanish page for its Seattle clubs was cited twice, and Planet Fitness was named in both of those answers. 5 of the 7 answers cited at least one Spanish page.

The Spanish-speaking dentist answer shows how little it takes. It found a dentist in Burien because his Zocdoc biography had one line, "(Y sí, ¡él habla español!)", and it found another from a listing that said "Languages: English, Spanish". It also ruled out a dentist whose profile listed English and Korean.

What this means for a Seattle business

  1. Directories carry the most weight here. Med spas: RealSelf and Fresha. Agents: ClearlyRated, Clever and your brokerage profile. Tutors: Varsity Tutors and Wyzant. Schools: Niche. Same name, address, services and prices on each.
  2. Get into Seattle's own media. Seattle Met's lists, Seattle Magazine and The Infatuation built the restaurant and dentist answers. Being in the next edition does more than any page you can write yourself.
  3. Childcare and programs: keep public listings current. King County's finder and WA 211 supplied most of the after-school answer, including hours, ages and subsidies.
  4. Say exactly what you treat and for whom. The dark-skin laser answer could not find a Seattle clinic that said it treats darker skin. One clear page saying so, with the laser you use, would have been the answer.
  5. Write "Seattle, Washington", and your languages. "Washington" alone pulled in Washington, DC. And a single line listing the languages you speak got a dentist named in Spanish.
  6. Replace old pages with new ones. Answers repeated forum threads from 2006 because nothing newer matched as well. A current page with today's prices gives them something better.

The guarantee, and what we don't promise

In the first 30 days of any plan, if ChatGPT, Gemini (Google AI) or Google's AI answers do not name you for at least 3 commercial questions on the list you approved, or you are unhappy for any other reason, we refund 100% of what you paid, in cash, within 7 working days. There is no lock-in after that. The full rules are on our guarantee page.

What we promise, in writing

  • A fixed list of buyer questions you approve
  • A day-one score, with screenshots
  • Re-checks on your plan's schedule
  • An honest monthly report, even when nothing moved
  • A day-90 review where you decide what happens next

What we don't promise

  • "You'll be first on ChatGPT." OpenAI says placement "is not guaranteed"
  • Guaranteed Google rankings
  • Paid spots on "best of" lists
  • Fake reviews, or reviews paid for a good rating, which the FTC's 2024 rule bans
  • Spanish pages. We don't write them
  • An office in Seattle, or a partnership with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic. We have none

Questions people ask

Do you have an office in Seattle?

No. Adjoltz is a Dubai team (Adjoltz FZE, Ajman Free Zone licence 58339) and we work with Seattle clients remotely. Dubai is 11 hours ahead of Seattle during daylight saving time and 12 hours ahead in winter, so most of the work runs in writing on WhatsApp and email, with video calls booked at a time that suits both sides.

Why were there so few spam pages in Seattle answers?

We don't know, and 27 questions can't tell us. Every city was asked with the same tool on the same day, and Seattle's share of off-topic pages was 6.0%, against 15.9% across the study. Treat it as one observation, not a rule. The directories and city media mattered more in Seattle either way.

Do you write Spanish pages for Seattle businesses?

No. We write English, and Arabic on Growth and Authority. In our study, 10 of the 17 Spanish-language sources behind Seattle's Spanish answers were Airbnb pages, so local businesses had almost no Spanish voice. If that matters to you, add a native Spanish writer to the team.

Are 27 questions enough to judge Seattle?

No. They show how Seattle answers are built, which directories, media and public listings they lean on. They don't tell you what AI says about your business. The free AI check asks 10 of your own buyer questions and shows who gets named instead of you.

Which AI tools do you track for a Seattle client?

ChatGPT and Gemini (Google AI), on every plan. Our study used Claude because its search tool lists every source behind each answer. Pew Research found 44% of US adults use ChatGPT and 6% use Claude, so we track the assistants most of your buyers use.
