Interakt alternative in the UAE (2026)
Interakt is a capable product built for a different market. The question for a Dubai brand is what it costs you to run an India-first tool on UAE message rates, in a currency you do not bill in.
Short version. Interakt is built for India — rupee pricing, India-hours support, no Arabic and no AED — and it carries a per-message markup on public pricing. For a UAE brand that matters because Meta's UAE marketing rate is roughly five times the Indian rate, so the same percentage costs far more here. Adjoltz is the done-for-you alternative: official Meta Cloud API, 0% markup, native AED and Arabic, from $149/month.
What Interakt is and does well
Interakt is a WhatsApp Business API platform from Jio Haptik, part of the Reliance group. It runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform and bundles the things a small commerce team needs: broadcasts, a shared inbox, a template manager, automation, a catalogue and a genuinely strong Shopify integration. Public 2025–2026 pricing puts its plans at roughly ₹999, ₹2,799 and ₹3,799 per month, which is cheap by any standard.
It is popular for good reason. If you sell in India, run a Shopify store and want one tool that covers WhatsApp end to end, Interakt is a sensible default and the price is hard to argue with. This is not a takedown of the product.
The reasons a UAE brand goes looking for an alternative are specific, and they are mostly about market fit rather than features.
Where it stops fitting a UAE business
- There is a markup on messages. Interakt runs a hybrid model with a per-message margin over Meta's rate, commonly reported in the 12–25% range on public pricing and removed only on enterprise agreements. Verify the current figure before buying — but assume there is one, and model it.
- The UAE is an expensive market to mark up. Meta's marketing rate here is roughly 2× the US rate and about 5× India's. A percentage that is barely noticeable on Indian traffic is charged on a far bigger base when you send to UAE numbers. This is the single biggest cost difference, and it grows as you grow.
- No AED billing. Plans are priced in rupees. You pay in rupees, absorb the card FX spread, and reconcile a foreign-currency line against an AED P&L every month.
- No Arabic. Not the interface, not the onboarding, not the support. In a market where a large share of your list reads Arabic first, that pushes the translation work back onto you.
- Support runs on India hours. There is overlap with the Gulf working day, but escalations land on an Indian calendar and Indian holidays, not a UAE one.
- It is self-serve. You get the dashboard; the templates, flows, opt-in handling and campaign analysis are your job. Fine if you have the time, a gap if you would rather the channel just ran.
What the markup actually costs at UAE rates
Meta's approximate UAE marketing rate is AED 0.16 per delivered message. Run a mid-range 15% markup across realistic volumes:
| Marketing messages / month | Meta's cost | At 15% markup | Extra you pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | ~AED 800 | ~AED 920 | ~AED 120 |
| 20,000 | ~AED 3,200 | ~AED 3,680 | ~AED 480 |
| 50,000 | ~AED 8,000 | ~AED 9,200 | ~AED 1,200 |
Arithmetic on Meta's approximate UAE rate and a mid-range markup. Rates are set by Meta, billed per message since July 2025, and should be verified at current figures. Interakt's exact markup varies by plan and agreement — check yours.
At 20,000 messages a month the markup alone costs more than an entire $149 platform plan. That is the number worth checking before the subscription price.

Where Adjoltz fits
Adjoltz is a Dubai-based managed service that runs your whole WhatsApp channel on Meta's official Cloud API: broadcasts, chatbots and flows, a shared team inbox, light CRM, catalogue, Click-to-WhatsApp ad routing, and delivery plus campaign analytics. The differences that matter against Interakt:
- Zero markup on messages. Your WhatsApp Business Account carries your own payment method, so Meta invoices you directly at its published rate. There is no reseller layer, and you can verify the 0% on your own Meta bill.
- Native AED billing on every plan. No FX spread, no rupee line in your accounts.
- Native Arabic and English — templates, flows and the customer-facing experience, not just a translation you supply.
- UAE data residency and UAE-hours support.
- You own your number and WABA, so leaving is a migration, not a hostage negotiation.
- Done for you. The templates, flows and campaigns are built and run for you from $149/month.
An honest note: Adjoltz is new. It was established in 2026, so it does not have Interakt's track record or a pile of third-party reviews, and we will not pretend otherwise. What you do not have to take on trust is the part that matters: it is Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, you own your number and WABA so you can leave any time, billing is month-to-month with no lock-in, and the 0% markup is checkable on your own Meta invoice because Meta bills you directly. Being new is the trade: you give up a big parent company and a review count, and you get lower total cost, done-for-you, AED and Arabic, in-region data and full ownership.
Other Interakt alternatives worth a look
If you have decided Interakt is not the fit but you still want to run the tool yourself, three others deserve a fair hearing:
- Gallabox — bills natively in AED 330 / 730 / 1,390 per month and passes Meta's rate through. The strongest self-serve option if AED billing is your main complaint. See our Gallabox pricing breakdown.
- AiSensy — the cheapest genuinely zero-markup self-serve tool, with AED billing on the entry tier. The chatbot is a paid add-on, so budget for it. See the AiSensy comparison.
- DoubleTick — AED-native at roughly AED 624 / 960 per month, sales-team oriented. Markup is not publicly disclosed, so ask. Covered in our Gallabox and DoubleTick comparison.
All three are reasonable. None of them changes the underlying question: do you want to run the channel, or have it run for you?
Who should stay on Interakt
Stay if your business or your operations team sits mainly in India, rupee billing is not a problem, your monthly volumes are low enough that a per-message percentage does not compound into real money, and you have someone in-house who genuinely wants to operate the dashboard. Interakt's Shopify integration is good and its subscription price is hard to beat.
Move if you send to UAE numbers at volume, you want the markup gone, and you would rather have AED billing, Arabic and someone else building the templates and running the campaigns. That is the trade Adjoltz is built for.
Adjoltz is the done-for-you, zero-markup alternative built specifically for the UAE — official Meta Cloud API, AED billing, Arabic and English, from $149/month, with your number and WABA in your own name.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Interakt alternative in the UAE?
Interakt is built for the Indian market — rupee pricing, India-hours support, no Arabic or AED. For a UAE brand the practical alternatives are Adjoltz if you want the channel run for you in AED and Arabic with zero markup on Meta's rate, Gallabox or DoubleTick if you want a self-serve dashboard that already bills in AED, or AiSensy if you want the lowest-cost zero-markup self-serve tool. Which is right depends mostly on whether you want to operate the tool yourself.
Does Interakt charge a markup on WhatsApp messages?
On public 2025–2026 pricing, Interakt runs a hybrid model with a per-message markup commonly reported around 12–25% over Meta's rate, removed only on enterprise agreements. Verify the current figure with Interakt before buying. It matters more in the UAE than in India because Meta's UAE marketing rate is roughly five times the Indian rate, so the same percentage is charged on a much larger base.
Does Interakt bill in AED?
No. Plans are priced in Indian rupees — roughly ₹999, ₹2,799 and ₹3,799 per month on public pricing. A UAE business pays in rupees and absorbs the FX spread on both the subscription and the message spend. Adjoltz, Gallabox and DoubleTick all bill natively in AED.
Is Adjoltz cheaper than Interakt?
The subscription is not the deciding number. Interakt's rupee plans are inexpensive, but a per-message markup on UAE rates grows with volume, while Adjoltz passes Meta's rate through at 0% on a flat fee from $149/month. At around 20,000 marketing messages a month, a 15% markup on the UAE rate costs roughly AED 480 — more than an entire Adjoltz plan. Below a few thousand messages a month the difference is small and Interakt may well be cheaper overall.
Who should stay on Interakt?
Stay if your business or team sits mainly in India, rupee billing is fine, your volumes are low enough that a per-message percentage does not add up, and someone in-house wants to run the dashboard. Interakt's Shopify integration is genuinely good.
